Although kokoro leads the training pack geisha in training, she loves her some Ba Ji Quan. She enters the new Dead or Alive tournament despite warnings of her mother, Miyako, who's well aware of the tournament's seedy underworld connections. Kokoro promises to play a big role in the dead or alive 4 storyline.

In terms of fighting, Kokoro is a powerful character, focusing her move set on powerful elbow attacks, pushing up against her opponent. She has some low hitting combos and a powerful three-level multi throw and can connect immediately from a standard P-P attack into a special throw. Mastering her requires great fighting talent.

Lei Fang has a six year old memory of being attacked and slashed. A young man with an embroidered dragon came to her aid, massacring her attackers in a single blow. Since then, Lei Fang has strived to reach the heights of her fighting ability so that she can co-exist in the same world as that man, and defeat him. She uses Tai Ji Quan.

Lei Fang's savior is also her greatest rival. Jann Lee rescud Lei Fang from a gang of hoodlums, who had overpowered the Chinese warrior. Lei Fang has sworn to prove herself Jann Lee's better in the DOA World Combat Championship, no matter what the cost.

One of the original DOA girls, Lei Fang is the face of the Dead or Alive series, with the most recognizable braided pigtails in all of video gaming. Lei Fang has some of the best counters in DOA Ultimate, which helps since she isn't exactly a master of combos. If you want to cleap up in Tag Team battles, hook Lei Fang up with Jann Lee. Despite her desire to defeat her rival, Jann Lee is her perfect partner.

We love Lei Fang because she dresses with some elegance, but also because counters are easily the most visually impressive attacks in DOAU and Lei Fang can deliver them time and time again. One of the mainstays of Dead or Alive, Lei Fang is certainly one of the characters we'll be using the most when we get our butts kicked by our readers online in late October.

Kasumi, Itagaki's favorite character (he kept on using her to defeat us), became an outcast ninja, giving up her leadership position of the Mugen Tenshin clan to her brother, Hayate. She has a clone, Alpha 152, who will unleash a great nightmare upon the world. Her fighting style is Mugen Tenshin Clan Ninjutsu Tenjin Mon Sect.

A ninja who seceded from her clan at the end of the first DOA in an effort to save her partially paralyzed brother Hayate, Kasumi remains a lady of mystery. Captured by the Super Human Development Project prior to the events of DOA 2, Kasumi was cloned (as seen in the famous nude without nipples scene from the DOAU trailer). She has, by far, the most bizarre background of any DOA girl.

Kasumi is one of the deadliest fighters in all of DOA, because she has surprising reach and can attack from greater distances than the other girls. With attacks that can often stun in one hit, Kasumi can hit from afar, rush in, and finish with a fast and powerful combo. When teamed with Ryu Hayabusa, she is a force to be reckoned with.

We love Kasumi because she has the best overall outfits in the game. We're not talking in DOA 2 or 3, we mean in DOA Ultimate. She looks great and her outfits are fantastic. More than that, Kasumi is one of the rare characters to come equipped with a blade and with lightning fast attacks, she can take down opponents in record time.
